Kim Quang Temple celebrations for 2012 the Year from the Dragon

ket noi to duyenFor a long time the monks and folks Kim Quang Temple have worked together to formulate the temple and grounds at 3119 Alta Arden Expressway, setting up a grand spiritual Buddhist Center for that greater Sacramento area.

The beauty and energy of the Kim Quang Temple community is growing exponentially with all the combined efficient and dedicated effort of local and statewide members. Venerable Thich Thien Duyen, the spiritual leader of Kim Quang Temple has been the guiding presence meticulously designing the temple and grounds, and has also been instrumental in having magnificent rocks and statuary shipped from Vietnam. Alongside a brand new fountain, dragons and warriors were recently carved by temple artists and so are now standing guard in front entrance, while a fantastic Laughing Buddha inside the garden greets visitors using its welcoming and jovial presence in white.

This week, members and friends happen to be busy getting ready for your celebrations starting on Saturday, January 21st at 8:00pm while using Repentance Ceremony when participants go to honor the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas with 97 prostrations.
